Hi! My name is Wizard and I am one of the Witchlets UK mascots. My awesome name was chosen by a child called Penny.
Cazi told me that as a thank you for helping pick the name, I am going to go and live with Penny and her family.
I was very excited, but also a little bit sad. I didn’t want Witchlets and friends to be left without me.
I decided to borrow a couple of Wizardology books from the Travelling Library. I planned to make copies of myself so everyone else could have adventures with me too!
I asked Cazi for permission and then raided the Witchlets craft room. It is full of herbs and magical items I knew would help me build the perfect spell.
“Hmm,” I said. “Some Cloves and Amaranths for friendship, Orange Peel and Thuja for strength, St John’s Wart for happiness, Lavender for calming and positivity, and of course, Roses for love!”
Cazi as the adult helped me light a candle and I began my magic spell.
Before long I had a hundred copies of myself!
I was so happy that now the others would be able to continue the Witchlets’ adventures and I could go live with Penny.
Cazi told me it would be nice to bring a present, so we packed my favourite craft materials.
I especially love the gold and silver flakes, but these go everywhere and it got all over my paws!
Cazi printed out my new adoption certificate and my ticket.
I said farewell to all my new friends and told them where I kept the secret treats. I also taught them how to be extra cuddly for all the children they’re going to meet when they go to events with Witchlets UK.
