Do I have to pay for a subscription to access your resources?
No! We require login to protect our resources from AI phishing, but we have a free plan that will always be free. The paid-for subscriptions are available for those who would like a little extra or would like to support the work we do.
Where are you based?
On paper, our head office is in Gloucestershire, but we all work remotely. We attend and organise events across the UK.
I am running an event and I would like to book you to run our children’s activities. How do I do this?
Two ways; email contact@witchlets.co.uk or fill in the festival form here.
Can I leave my children unattended at the workshops?
No. Although we have ratio and safeguarding policies, first aid training and appropriate DBS’ we are not a childminding service. Any unaccompanied children at any of our in-person activities will be subject to our lost child policy, which starts with attempting to locate the parent and ends with us contacting the police to report a lost child. We take children’s safety extremely seriously. If you have an older child and have come to us to tell us your child is allowed to be unattended, this will be at the discretion of the workshop organiser, but we will not take any legal responsibility for the child.
I am an author who would like to donate books to the travelling library, how do I do that?
We are always in need of new books! fill in the author form here.
I can’t find a resource that would be useful to me. How do I request this?
We are in the process of uploading hundreds of documents, but to stop the system crashing we are having to do this slowly. On top of that, EVERY document we upload has to go through our five-point quality check. This means we may well already have the resource you need, and if we don’t we can create it or direct you to an alternative. If you are a premium subscriber you can request the resource on the forum, otherwise, send us an email at contact@witchlets.co.uk.
I’ve noticed an error in a resource, how do I let you know?
It’s rare, but accidents do happen! Send us an email at contact@witchlets.co.uk and we will look into it ASAP.
What paths do you cover?
The ethos of Witchlets UK is to be as inclusive as possible. Paganism and Heathenry are incredible religions in that there are so many variations and opportunities to grow. We cover everything from Wicca to Druids to Followers of the Old Ways. The only time we cannot promote a path is when there has been a consistent pattern of exclusive behaviour within it.
I am having trouble with my child’s school. Where can I go for support?
We have a positive track record with mediation and advocacy for Pagan families. Please pop over to our Advocacy page to learn more.
We strike a fine balance of championing families and being objective and succinct so that schools can see us as a fair mediator.
Can I get involved?
Absolutely! The more people that get involved and support what we do, the more we can help other families. We have volunteer roles from workshop coordinators to resource creators. Please complete this Volunteer Form or send us an email at contact@witchlets.co.uk to get involved.
Do I have to have a child to get involved?
Absolutely not! You could be a teacher, a grandparent or just an expert in the field. we don’t mind, as long as you follow our safeguarding and inclusivity guidelines, you’re more than welcome to join the team.
I am a school that would like help with resources.
You can send us an email at contact@witchlets.co.uk with this request. We can cover everything from assemblies to one-off resource packs.
I need legal advice regarding a family matter.
When we identify a child in danger we will immediately follow our safeguarding protocols.
Although we do have an ordained chaplain on our register, our support is predominantly spiritual. If you have a matter that looks to be legal, we can support you emotionally and spiritually, but we would also have to signpost you to appropriate legal avenues. Signposting can include CAB, Shelter, Victim Support and Just Like Us among others.
We are a safe space, you can talk to us without fear of judgement.
Are you a charity?
Our five-year goal is to become a registered charity, but these things take time. For now, we are a not-for-profit organisation undergoing the paperwork to become a CIC.
Do you have paid roles?
None of our volunteers or directors take a salary, with very strict rules on expenses for travel, to ensure that all the money we make goes right back into the work we do.
